New Line has announced that they are going to relaunch “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
Who cares? I don’t, but you might.

Why, just tell me why. I can write an orginal movie, or at least give them an orginal idea. These are just cash cows for the studios. WHY?
i thought that ‘golden compass’ was pretty original. did that even last 3 weeks in the theatres? maybe ‘nightmare’ is just a safe bet, i think they’re christians too.

Biff, I think you hit it right on the head. “Compass” is a great book, and the translation to film was better than I expected. I’m sure nightmare will make a ton of money in the first weekend then it will disapear until the DVD. Quick cash. Biff, how did you hear about my site?

I disagree. I was very disappointed in the Compass. The book was great–lots of action. The movie completely missed the feel of the book. And it ruined the ending!!!!
