Movie News: Hartnett going for the bizarre

Variety reports that Josh Hartnett (30 Days of Night) will star in a very bizarre sounding movie, “Bunraku.” Produced by Snoot Entertainment, they claim that the films inspirations come from Japanese puppet theater, German expressionism and video games. Sounds great! I get the feeling this is going to be an American produced, Japanese styled, Korean type flick (I don’t understand that either).
Hartnett is to play a revenge seeking drifter in an alternate universe. Does that universe know about our universe, where Hartnett used to star in really bad movies?
The director, Guy Moshe (Holly) is also writing the film. Principal photography to begin in the spring.
