Heath Ledger found dead at the ripe young age of 28. On Tuesday at 3:30 P.M., tragedy struck as one of Hollywood’s elite was discovered in his Soho apartment dead. Heath leaves behind a two year old daughter, named Matilda, that he fathered with actress Michelle Williams. No information as to the cause of death has been released; however sleeping pills were discovered near his body. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23.
Heath is starring opposite Christan Bale, as the Joker in this summer’s block buster: The Dark Knight, directed by Christopher Nolan. It is also rumored that he was set star in the next Terry Gilliam film.
It is with a heavy heart that our first piece of movie news is something so tragic. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.
