Worthington to be Terminated

The star of James Cameron’s “Avatar” Sam Worthington is going to star in “Terminator: Salvation,” aka, Terminator 4. Worthington was recommend by Cameron for the role after he completed principal photography on “Avatar.” James Cameron wanted nothing to do with T3, he never bashed it, but he obviously distanced himself from the project. Does this mean that Cameron warming up to the idea of the new films and where they’re headed?
Terminator: Salvation, directed by McG’s (Charlies Angels, We Are Marshall) plot has twists and turns that are being kept under tight wraps, Worthington will play the role of Marcus, a central figure in a three-picture arc that begins after Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust. A group of survivors led by John Connor (Christian Bale) struggles to keep the machines from finishing the job.
T3 was terrible, it had great potential, the cast was great, the idea was good, but that female Terminator, the T-X, was just silly. Not because she was female, but because the T-X was week. After the shape shifting T-1000, T-X was just so…Blah. I remember seeing T3 in the theater, it felt like one long chase scene, that maybe should have occupied the first act of the film, certainly not the entire movie. Also I don’t think they even mentioned Sarah Connor, could be wrong, but they sure didn’t get into where she was, or what happened, that’s just bad. Not talking about Sarah is like talking about Jesus with no mention of Mary (Not comparing the two, just making an example). Lets hope these new chapters, complete with Batman, are great, and we can sweep T3 under some atomic rug or something.

Christian Bale has had some really great roles as of late. Don’t they currently have a TV series out too?
No doubt. Have you seen 3:10 to Yuma yet. I think it’s the best western (not including There Will Be Blood) since Unforgiven. I remember Bale from American Crazy Physco (sp) and he scared the crap outta me.
3:10 kicked some serious @ss. Bale has mos def proven himself to be leading role guy. lets just be glad the terminator crew didn’t pick that gump, Furlong. i think Furlong could probably play Harry in the next Potter flick. lol i still havn’t seen There Will Be Blood..
